Isaías has a background in computer science and a degree, masters and PhD in the field, with a specialisation in Energy Market and Operations Research. He has applied mathematical optimisation methods in the balancing market to integrate new technologies.

Specifically, he has worked on the optimisation of a telecommunications operator's battery asset to participate in the balancing market, which gave him solid knowledge of the energy sector.
